New Delhi, Nov 10 (KNN) Eyeing at promoting the flagship project of the government Swachh Bharat Abhyan among the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), the Ministry of MSME has invited nominations for the work on Swachhta from MSME units as well as industry associations.

The Ministry will be observing Swachhta Pakhwada from 1 to 15 December 2017 during which the awards will be given out under various categories.

The deadline for nomination is set to November 14^th 2017. Interested units/associations may send file their nomination along with supporting pictures and videos to the DC MSME.

The nominations can be filed in the appropriate format and mailed to pksingh@dcmsme.gov.in and opmehta@dcmsme.gov.in.

Swachhta Pakhwada is a part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan campaign of the present government also known as  Swachh Bharat Mission or Clean India Mission in English) under which the government aims to address the different issues around cleanliness at different levels.  It also aims at the larger sustainable development and pollution reduction goals.
