MSME ministry launches NMCP programme to promote competition among MSMEs

New Delhi Dec 17 (KNN) The MSME ministry has launched the National Manufacturing Competiveness Programme (NMCP) to develop global competiveness among the Indian MSMEs by providing the financial assistance to MSMEs through various schemes.

The details of these schemes under NMCP are given below:
 
(i)         Lean Manufacturing Competitiveness Scheme for MSMEs;  
(ii)        Technology and Quality Up gradation Support to MSMEs;
(iii)       Design Clinics scheme for MSMEs;
(iv)       Enabling Manufacturing Sector to be Competitive through Quality Management Standards (QMS) and Quality Technology Tools (QTT);
(v)        Marketing Assistance and Technology Up gradation Scheme for MSMEs;
(vi)       National campaign for building awareness on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR);
 
The objective of these schemes is enhancement of competitiveness and Upgradation of technologies in MSME sector, said Giriraj Singh Minister of State, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha. (KNN Bureau)
