MSME Ministry, NPCIL organizing state level vendor development programme in Mumbai

Mumbai, Oct 12 (KNN) A State Level Vendor Development Programme is being organized by the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) in association with NPCIL at India Nuclear Energy 2016 Expo being held here later this month.

India Nuclear Energy is an annual expo, being held at Nehru Centre, Worli, Mumbai, from 20th – 21st October 2016.

India Nuclear Energy will be used as a platform for MSMEs & PSUs to interact with each other with a view to identify emerging demands of the buyer organizations The component requirements of NPCIL will be the focus of this session.

Along with UBM, it is being co-organised by the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) and supported by the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL).

Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) is a Public Sector Enterprise under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. NPCIL is responsible for design, construction, commissioning and operation of nuclear power reactors.

The summit and expo aims to bring together the prominent organizations and professionals from across the globe to discuss the future, latest developments, business opportunities, policies and procedures in the Indian Civil Nuclear Energy market.

The vendor development programme will help the large and small scale component manufacturers, suppliers and service providers.

The expo will be visited by top officials from the project, procurement, operations, maintenance and R& D teams from Nuclear Power Plant operators in India.

The event gives participants direct access to NPCIL end user from the Procurement, Project, R&D, Operations and Maintenance teams for business and technical discussions.

It would also give MSMEs opportunity to leverage new and innovative offerings through B2B meeting to link the buyers with the suppliers.

The theme of the India Nuclear Energy Expo 2016 is “Target 2032 – Achieve a Power generation capacity to 63,000 Mw”. (KNN Bureau)
