New Delhi, Mar 4 (KNN) The Ministry of MSME today held an interactive meeting with industry experts and different stakeholders to seek views and comments on the National MSME Policy.

In January this year, Government had constituted a one man Committee headed by Prabhat Kumar, Ex-Cabinet Secretary and the first Governor of Jharkhand state, to make appropriate recommendations for a national policy of MSME.

As per the notification issued under the signature of Development Commissioner MSME, the Committee is expected to submit its comprehensive recommendations to the Ministry covering issues like Digital India, Start up India and Make in India, by June, 2016.

Kumar along with DC-MSME Surendra Nath Tripathi and other officials from the Ministry interacted with the industry associations.

Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME) was also present in the meeting. (KNN Bureau)
