MSME Ministry to conduct ‘MSME Expedition’ in rural areas of 12 states

New Delhi, April 28 (KNN) The Ministry of MSME will be conducting the ‘MSME Expedition’ in rural areas of 12 different states across India starting from May 1, 2022.

To create awareness about MSME schemes and initiatives in the rural areas is the main purpose of the promotional and publicity drive.

It will also focus on informing entrepreneurs and small business in tribal areas about the various steps taken by the government and how to avail the benefits.

The National team of the ‘MSME Expedition’ will cover rural areas of Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Odisha, Maharashtra, and West Bengal.

It is a part of ‘Enterprise Initiative’ which was launched by MSME Minister Narayan Rane on Wednesday.

In 2021 from November 27 to December 8, the ‘MSME Expedition’ covered areas from Delhi to Faridabad, Ballabgarh, Palval, Agra, Firozabad, Fatehpur, Kanpur, Allahabad, Rewa, Varanasi, Buxar, Ara, Patna, Chhapra, Champaran, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Sultanpur, Kannauj, Lucknow, Anupshahar and Sambhal.
