MSME Ministry to establish Tech Center in Puducherry to train 6400 annually

New Delhi, 10 Jan (KNN) The Prime Minister will inaugurate INR 122 crore worth Technology Centre for the MSME Ministry in Puducherry

This launch will be done after he virtually inaugurates the 25th National Youth Festival at 11 a.m. in Puducherry. 

The technology centre is dedicated for the Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) Sector using cutting-edge technology. 

It is said that it will train 6400 trainees per year, contributing to young skill development.

Encouraging the youth and initiating them for building of nation is the main aim of the youth festival.

It aspires to bring together India’s various cultures, which will feature panel discussions on four identified themes, will follow the inauguration. 

Themes will include ecology, climate, and SDG-led growth; tech, entrepreneurship, and innovation; indigenous and ancient knowledge; and national character, nation building, and homegrown in line with youth-led development and motivating youths to overcome rising difficulties and challenges. 

During the Festival, participants will be shown recorded video capsules of Puducherry, Auroville, Immersive City Experience, indigenous athletic games, and traditional dances, among other things. In the evening, there will be open discussions with Olympians and Paralympians, followed by a live performance. In the morning, a virtual yoga class will be held.
