New Delhi, Dec 10 (KNN) The meeting to discuss continuation of ‘Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme’ (CLCSS) beyond 12th Five Year Plan will be held on December 11, 2018. 

Earlier,  it was scheduled for December 7, 2018. 

According to the Ministry of MSME, Office of the Development Commissioner,  the matter of continuation of CLCS Scheme beyond 12th Five Year Plan is now under the consideration of the Government.

The meeting will be held under the Chairmanship of the Principal Adviser, NITI Aayog and Member Secretary to EAC-PM.

The objective of conducting the meeting is to seek suggestions and views of the concerned authorities on the subject matter that will help the Ministry in order to consider the proposal for continuance of CLCSS after evaluating its impact and outcome in the 12^th Five Year Plan.

The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MoMSME) is operating a scheme namely “Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme (CLCSS) for technology up-gradation of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSE’s). The scheme was launched in October-2000 and revised from 29.9.2005.

The revised scheme aims at facilitating technology up-gradation by providing 15% up front capital subsidy to MSEs, including tiny, khadi, village and coir industrial units, on institutional finance availed by them for induction of well-established and improved technologies in specified sub-sectors/products approved under the scheme.
