MSME Ministry to meet stakeholders on Sept 5 over CLCSS

New Delhi, Sep 2 (KNN) For signing MoU with Nodal Banks on Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme (CLCSS) component, a conference under the Chairmanship of Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).

The conference will be held on September 5, 2019 at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, Janpath Rd, near Hotel Le Meridian, Windsor Place, New Delhi.

During the conference, issues pertaining to delayed payment to MSMEs will also be discussed.

To discuss the matter in detail, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Small Industries Development Bank (SIDBI), Officers concerned with TReDS platform, Officers from major banks, Regional Director in-charges of ROC under Ministry of Corporate Affairs, CSPEs and other departments related industries and finance are invited for the conference.

Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme (CLCSS) is for technology up-gradation of Micro and Small enterprises (MSEs) in the country.

The scheme aims to boost the competitiveness of MSMEs by integrating ongoing technology upgradation efforts with the Credit Linked Capital Subsidy (CLCS), hand-holding zero defect zero effect manufacturing (ZED), increasing productivity through waste reduction, design intervention, cloud computing, facilitation of intellectual property, and nurturing new ideas.

The CLCSTUS was approved by theCabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for the next three years, with a total outlay of Rs 2,900 crore in February this year.
