New Delhi, Nov 13 (KNN)  Presenting an overview on the different opportunities in the export business of casting, forgings and engineering components, the Ministry of MSME is organising a two day programme on export documentation and procedure.

The programme starting November-23 will be organised in the national capital region of Faridabad by the MSME Technology Development Centre.

Export business also known as international trading, requires special documentation depending upon the type of product and destination to be exported from India.

Export Documents not only give detail about the product and its destination port but are also used for the purpose of taxation and quality control inspection certification.

The programme will help the exporters understand that export documentation is far more than just shipping paperwork which includes all of the important records of an international transaction.

For international trade, using the correct trade terminology, clearly defining the transfer of interest and liability, selecting the right method of payment and sending the best quotation possible are key to effective exporting.

After the sale has been made, proper and timely selection, preparation and distribution of documents are also essential.

Documents used in international trade are a reflection of the understanding of the agreement between the seller, the buyer, and third party service and regulatory agencies.

The programmes will help in the skill development of the exporters, as MSMEs play a vital role in export by contributing 40 per cent of the total export of the country. (KNN/SD)
