New Delhi, Jan 27 (KNN)  To provide marketing opportunity to micro and small enterprises (MSEs) engaged in manufacturing of items, or rendering services procured by Northern Railways, Rail Coach Factory and other central public sector undertakings, a national vendor development programme cum industrial exhibition will be held here.

Organised by MSME Development Institute, New Delhi in association with Northern Railways, Rail Coach Factor, Kapurthala, National Small Industries Corporation Limited and Laghu Udyog Bharati, MSME Expo 2015 will be held from February 19 to 20, according to a press notification.

The two day event will help MSEs expand their marketing base and explore new marketing avenues.

As many as 100 stalls measuring 3 metres by 3 metres are available at a special rate of Rs 8000 for micro and small enterprises while the rate for others is Rs 15,000.  In addition there will be a 50 per cent concession offered to enterprises owned by SC/ST/women/PH entrepreneurs.

The event will feature an interactive meet of MSEs with CPSUs, Government departments wherein public procurement policy 2012, vendor registration and other requirements of CPSUs will be discussed.  (KNN/ES)
