MSME Secretary chairs meeting on ZED Maturity Assessment model

New Delhi, Dec 10 (KNN) Government is giving special emphasis on Zero Defect – Zero Effect (ZED) Maturity Assessment Model to make the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in India globally competent by hand-holding through Quality Council of India.

In this context, MSME Ministry today held a meeting on ZED Maturity Assessment Model.
 
Anup K Pujari, Secretary, Ministry of MSME chaired SFC meeting on ZED Maturity Assessment model, a new rating scheme to make MSME enterprises to global standards by hand-holding through Quality Council of India.

The ZED Maturity Assessment Model has been conceived and structured to offer graded benchmark levels of an organisation's performance through a set of standard enabler and outcome parameters focusing on quality and environmental performances. It aims to rate and handhold all MSMEs to deliver top-quality products using clean technology. (KNN Bureau)
