MSME Tool Room seeks to procure machinery

The specifications of machines to be purchased are: one CNC horizontal machining centre with X:1300 mm, Y:1000 mm and Z:1000 mm with 24 ATC accuracy 1 micron; one precision surface grinding machine; and 15 high end work stations, according to an official notification.
The suppliers should have supplied to government organisations previously and should have proof of having done so, along with a list of clientele.
Prices should be quoted under Directorate General of Supplies and Disposals (DGS & D) rate contract.
The bids should accompany Earnest Money Deposit / Bank guarantee through a bank draft from a nationalised bank drawn in favour of Central Institute of Tool Design, Balanagar, Hyderabad.
MSME-Tool Room, Hyderabad (Central Institute of Tool Design - CITD) was established in 1968 by the Government of India with the assistance of UNDP and ILO. It is a pioneering institution in the field of tool engineering in the country.
The main objectives of the institute are: Training of the technical personnel in designing and manufacture of tools, dies and moulds; design and manufacture of dies, jigs, fixtures and guages, etc; Provision of advisory services to small scale units including assistance in design and developing tools for various processes; and recommending measures to standardise components for dies, jigs and other tools.
