MSME training programme on testing for metal, building materials

New Delhi, May 27 (KNN) With an aim to test raw materials, engineering products and building material conforming MSMEs to Indian and international standards, the MSME-Technology Development Centre, Agra is conducting a certificate course on chemical, metallurgical and non-destructive testing of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and engineering components.

The course content will cover the topics like chemical analysis of metal, TMT/TOR, test bar, wire tube, hardness, magnetic cracks detectors, machining charges for sample and service tax.

The institute has facility for chemical, metallurgical and non-destructive testing of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and engineering components.

It is equip with computerised ARL & Spectro MAXx German make optical emission spectrometers, atomic absorption spectrometer, computerised universal testing machine, impact tester, ultrasonic flaw detector, image analyser, magnetic crack detector and colour micro photography facilities and building material testing facilities.

Meanwhile, the institute is also conducting a training programme on project management on May 30, 31, June 6 and 7 at Project Management Institute, Gurgaon. (KNN/ST)
