New Delhi, Jan 19 (KNN) The Electronic Service and Training Centre, a government institute under the Ministry of Micro, small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is conducting training programmes on technologies for value creation such as Autocad, PLC programming and VLSI design.

Individuals with degree or diploma in Engineering (Completed or Undergoing) can participate in the four weeks course starting today at MSME Extension Centre in the capital city.

The course content for Autocad will cover topics such as two dimensional drawing, format, edit, modelling, different type of layers, limit, polygon, polyline, construction, three dimensional drawing, complete drawing sheet with title block and make assembly of different parts.

In addition, there will be practical training on 2D, 3D, solid work model, drawing and assembly of different parts.

Content on PLC includes topics like PLC hardware structure, operating principles, hardware installation and wiring, digital and analog I/O addressing, step-7 micro win 32, PLC programming languages, basic logic operations and MMI programming.

The four week course on VLSI design will cover devices used in VLSI, VLSI design flow, comparison between PLD’s, ASIC’s and FPGA’s, field programmable gate arrays, FPGA, FPGA packaging, vendors, front end and back end system designing, front end designing using FPGA, VHDL and its advantages.

It will also have practical session on basic gates, Half adder and full adder dataflow, encoder, implementing AOI circuits, JK flip flop, D flip flop, Serial in Serial out Shift register and 8 bit up down counter. (KNN/ST)
