MSMEs facing problems of lack of capital, poor infra and more: Kalraj Mishra

New Delhi, July 30 (KNN) With the view to obviate the problems faced by the MSME entrepreneurs with regards to capital, infrastructure, technology and more, the MSME Ministry has been implementing several schemes and has also been interacting with stake-holders to facilitate the growth of MSME units.
 
MSME entrepreneurs are facing several problems - lack of adequate capital; Poor infrastructure; Access to modern technology; Access to markets; and Getting statutory clearances related to power, environment, labour etc, Union MSME Minister told Parliament today.
 
In a written reply to the Rajya Sabha, Mishra said, “To obviate these problems, the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) is implementing a number of Schemes & Programmes like Credit Guarantee Scheme, Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme, Cluster Development Programme and National Manufacturing Competitiveness Programme etc”
 
Furthermore, the Ministry has been interacting with various concerned Ministries/Departments/State Governments/Banks and other stake-holders to streamline the mechanism for grant of loans, simplify labour laws and other procedures to facilitate the growth of MSME units, he added. (KNN Bureau)
