MSMEs will be given opportunity to revive by restructuring loans and CAP: Kalraj Mishra

New Delhi, Sept 15 (KNN) The micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) will be given an opportunity to revive their units through restructuring the loans and Corrective Action Plans (CAP), MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra has said while commenting on India’s rank in the World Bank’s ease of doing business report.
 
In a tweet, Mishra wrote that through the CAP committee of the banks will be formed and the MSMEs will be given an opportunity to restructure their loans and revive through CAP.
 
He said that keeping in view that India rank 142nd in ease of doing business report; the Ministry has notified a framework for revival and rehabilitation of MSMEs.
 
MSME Minister tweeted that steps would be taken for rehabilitation of stressed MSMEs.
 
He wrote that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is committed to improve its ranking in ease of doing business report.
 
Mishra congratulated the states that acquired top positions in the list. He said, “It is joyous to know that top 6 states in #easeofdoingbusiness list released by #WorldBank are governed by NDA Government.”
 
The government on Monday released the results of the ranking through a report on ‘Assessment of State Implementation of Business Reforms’.
 
Gujarat took the top position in a list that ranked states on the ease of doing business. Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh feature in the top five in the report compiled by the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion with technical assistance from the World Bank, consultancy firm KPMG, and CII and FICCI.
