Mudra Yojana will create millions of job creators: Kalraj Mishra

Ahmednagar, Feb 9 (KNN) The Union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra attended the pre-budget meet organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) here today. During the meet, a budget memorandum was submitted to the minister by the women entrepreneurs of the district.

While addressing the event, Mishra hailed the various schemes launched by the government.

He said that the Mudra Yojana’s – Shishu, Kishor and Tarun – are going to create millions of job creators.

Under the Mudra Yojana, there are three schemes called Shishu, Kishore and Tarun. Shishu: covers loans up to Rs 50,000; Kishor covers loans above Rs 50,000 and up to Rs. 5 lakh; and Tarun: covers loans above Rs 5 lakh and up to Rs. 10 lakh.

“Jandhan Yojana is the largest scheme ever in the world for financial inclusion. 30 crore accounts opened through Jandhan Yojana,” said the Minister.

The Minister further said that the inflation has been under control and the economy is based on transparency and solid foundations.

The Minister said that Atal Innovation Fund, Start-up India, and Stand-up India will change the scenario of unemployed youth in the country.

Mishra also reiterated that the rehabilitation and revival of sick units has been planned properly.

Mishra praised the Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum launched by the government last year and said UAM is the best example of ease of doing business. (KNN Bureau)
