Mysuru Industries Association sets up help desk to facilitate MSMEs obtain UAM and register with Databank

Mysuru, Jan 6 (KNN) As a ease of doing business for MSMEs, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) has renamed MSME Registration as Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum (UAM) and introduced the online registration under the MSMED Act, 2016, linked with Aadhaar Card.

The MSMEs need to be registered under the Udyog Aadhar Memorandum to avail the benefits provided under various Govt. schemes & facilities to the industry including exemption from obtaining Trade Licence by Corporation, Municipalities and other local bodies.

Apart from this the Government of India has created MSME Data Bank which is mandatory that all MSMEs must upload their details through a portal www.msmedatabank.in

In this regard, the Mysore Industries Association (MIA) has established MSME Help Desk to facilitate and help all MSME fraternity to obtain Udyog Aadhar Memorandum (UAM) and uploading information to MSME databank.
