National Consultative Workshop for MSMEs, WSHGs & Start-ups on Government e-Marketplace on Sept 27

New Delhi, Sept 24 (KNN) Aiming to bring Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)  as sellers on Government e-Marketplace (GeM), a national consultative workshop for MSMEs, Self Help Groups (SHGs), start-ups is being organized on September 27 by Government e Marketplace (GeM) in association with Ministry of MSME.

The workshop titled “MSE, SHGs, Start-ups on GeM: Opportunities and Beyond” is the GeM Mission series which focuses on identifying concrete and implementable recommendations/ solutions to take GeM to the next level.

A National Mission on GeM was launched on 5th September 2018 by the Commerce and Industry Minister, Suresh Prabhu, to accelerate the adoption and use of GeM by Major Central Ministries, States and their agencies (including States, CPSUs/PSUs, Local Bodies).

The mission,  underway, is for 6 weeks. It started on September 6 and will continue till 17th October, 2018 to conduct training & registration sessions, and road shows to propel seller registration drive. 

In this regard, GeM has invited women entrepreneurs, Start-ups and MSMEs to a one day National Consultative Workshop in New Delhi.

The one day event will have 4 panel discussions of one hour duration based on economic, social, gender and environmental theme.
