Need for a better coordination between govt and industry, Rajasthan SMEs

Jaipur, Feb 8 (KNN) Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia has asked the small industries in the state to use latest technologies to increase efficiency and profit.

Raje recently held a meeting with the representatives of industries in the state. She said there is a need to change the mind-sets and use the latest technologies in the market to increase their profits and also add to the government’s revenue.

The MSME entrepreneurs said there is a need for better coordination between the government and the industry for technology upgradation.

Talking to KNN, the President of Jhotwara Industrial Association (JIA), Jaipur Vinod Gupta said, “Government has its own responsibility, and we have own, both can run with mutual consent.”

“If we will progress, the state will too emerge,” he said adding that the industries should adopt new technologies to reduce their production costs.

JIA President further asserted that it’s a tough time for the industry and steps have to be taken in order to sustain.

Government is providing some relief through their schemes to us, said JIA President.

However, he also said that Government should provide more incentives and subsidies for the industry to make it competitive. (KNN Bureau)
