NI-MSME announces a one-week training programme on “Enterprises Development through Self–Employment”

Hyderabad, Aug 24 (KNN) National Institute for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (NI-MSME), has announced a one-week training programme on “Enterprises Development through Self–Employment” here scheduled from September 21 -25.

The programme is designed to meet the requirements of officers belonging to the directorate of industries and Banks. It will also benefit those who are involved in decision making and policy implementation of MSMEs in their regions.

''The programme offers a blend of concept sessions, exercises and case studies comprising class-room discussions. Apart from these, the participants are required to work on assignments by visiting some of the self-employment ventures in and around Hyderabad,'' read the NI-MSME brochure.

The objectives of the programme are: to examine critical gaps in implementation of the various self-employment schemes, to Identify methodologies to promote suitable enterprises that can be promoted on self-employment schemes and to generate employment opportunities in rural as well as urban areas of the country through setting up of new self-employment ventures, projects and micro enterprises.

''As you are aware, NI-MSME, an organization of Ministry of MSME, is an Apex training arm of Ministry of MSME, Government of India is always looking after not only entrepreneurship but focusing also on enterprise development by providing training to the officials since the last 6 decades.

With reference to the above subject cited, NI-MSME is proposing to organize a one-week training programme for identification of suitable income generating activities and orientation of the youth to take up such viable self-employment activities.  In this context there is an imperative need to evolve pragmatic strategies with a bias in favour of promotion of sustainable enterprises with potential for self-employment,'' said NI-MSME.

NI-MSME has also requested MSME associations, industry, organization, department, bank, institute and university to nominate one or two officers such as Assistant Directors, Industrial Promoting Officers and Industrial Extension Officers who are involved in promotion of self-employment and can identify suitable enterprises for the benefit of unemployed youth to take advantage of the programme and also to know the views of other officials from different states.

The course fee of the programme is Rs 15,000 for Residential fee, Rs 13,500 for Non-Residential fee (In addition 18%GST is applicable). Fee includes course material, course kit, accommodation and boarding during the actual days of training programme.

A certificate of participation will be awarded to each participant on conclusion of the programme.

NI-MSME has also said that due to any reason if any nominee is unable to attend the programme, substitute will be permitted, as fee once paid is not refundable.

To register manually, one needs to send his/her nominations giving details of name, designation, contact address, email address, mobile numbers, telephone and fax number of the participant along with the details of payment of fee, Demand Draft drawn in favour of NI-MSME payable in Hyderabad.
