Ni-msme to benefit decision makers of MSMEs through a training programme

Hyderabad, Mar 6 (KNN) To benefit those who are involved in decision making and policy implementation of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), National Institute for MSME (ni-msme) is organizing training programme on ‘Enterprises Development through Self-Employment’ here.

Objective of the event is to generate employment opportunities in rural as well as urban areas of the country through setting up of new self-employment ventures/projects/micro enterprises.

Five day educational event that will start from March 11, 2019 will cover contents like- (a) Self Employment Programmes (b) Careful selection of viable activities (c) Institutional support for skill up gradation. (d) Concept of self-Employment (e) Individual vs. Group Enterprises (f) Financing schemes and incentives (g) Loaning patterns, margin money schemes (h) Project preparation (i) Potential survey to identify viable Enterprises.

Examining critical gaps in implementation of the various self-employment schemes and identifying methodologies to promote suitable enterprises that can be promoted on self-employment schemes are amongst other objectives of the event.

This event will help in i) creating awareness among the officials to promote self-employment and micro enterprise development to address the issue of poverty, unemployment and inclusive growth. ii) the ability to identify opportunities, plan, development and implement the state government employment generation schemes. iii) to understand the intricacies in implementation of PMEGP Scheme in the state.

The programme is designed to meet the requirements of officers belonging to Directorate of Industries and Bank officials.  (KNN/JM)
