Ni-MSME to organize one week training program on ‘Promotion and Development of Rural Clusters’

Hyderabad, June 3 (KNN) A one week training program is being organized on “Promotion and Development of Rural Clusters” for the benefit of officials of Rural Development, Industry, Agriculture and Forest Departments, NGOs, and other agencies involved in enterprise promotion.

The programme is being organized by the National Resource Centre for Cluster Development (NRCD) of National Institute of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (ni-msme).

The five day programme starting from August 26 here, and will end on August 30, 2019 aims to enable the participants to understand the basic concepts of cluster development; role of Government, development organizations, and NGOs in cluster development.

In addition it enables the participants to identify potential clusters for development; cluster analysis; prepare road map for cluster development; develop appropriate techniques for effective implementation and monitoring & evaluation.

The Government of India through its Ministries is implementing a good number of cluster based development programs to make traditional enterprises more productive and competitive.

Officials of Industries Department, Technical Consultancy Organizations, Commercial Banks, Faculty of Technical and Management Institutes, Entrepreneurs, Business Development Service Providers, and NGOs can participate in the program.
