Ni-msme to organize training programme on ‘Enterprises Development through Self-Employment’ for benefit of MSMEs

Hyderabad, Mar 8 (KNN) To benefit those who are involved in decision making and policy implementation of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), National Institute for MSME (ni-msme) is organizing a training programme on ‘Enterprises Development through Self-Employment’ from March 11, 2019 here.

Objective of the five day event is to examine critical gaps in implementation of the various self-employment schemes, to Identify methodologies to promote suitable enterprises that can be promoted on self-employment schemes and to generate employment opportunities in rural as well as urban Areas of the country through setting up of new self-employment ventures/projects/micro enterprises.

The programme offers a blend of concept sessions, exercises and case studies comprises of class-room discussions. Apart from these, the participants are required to work on assignments by visiting some of the self-employment ventures in and around Hyderabad.

The programme is designed to meet the requirements of officers belonging to Directorate of Industries, Bank officials.

Programme will create awareness among the officials to promote self-employment and micro enterprise development to address the issue of poverty, unemployment and inclusive growth.

Event will also help in introducing the ability to identify opportunities, plan, development and implement the State Govt. employment generation schemes and also to understand the intricacies in implementation of PMEGP Scheme in the state.

Event will cover contents like self-employment programmes, careful selection of viable activities, institutional support for skill up-gradation, concept of self- employment, individual vs. group enterprises and may more such topics. (KNN/JM)
