NIESBUD organises self-employment fair

New Delhi, Feb 6 (KNN) With an objective to provide facilitation opportunities for the trainees to go for self-employment, the National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) is organising one of its own kind self-employment fair for the first time in country.

The fair is scheduled on February 25, 2015 at the institute’s Noida campus.

The event is specially being organised for the benefit of the trained participants of NIESBUD, so that they can set up own enterprise, said a release.

The institute has conducted a total 14793 different training programmes covering 380655 participants which include 171 International programmes with 2790 participants from more than 125 countries till December 2014, it said.

NIESBUD provides various training courses including fashion designing, household electrical appliances repair, web designing, mobile repairing, computer hardware and networking, retail management, tour operator, food processing, fitter fabrication, tool & dye making and security guard.

“We spare no efforts to groom our participants, not only in their chosen discipline, but also broaden their mindsets with essentials of entrepreneurship and marketing, thus equipping them with all qualities to make them an asset to whichever enterprise or organisation they may set up,” it said.
