NIESBUD seminar on quality standards for SMEs

New Delhi, Nov 5 (KNN) The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) is organising a combined seminar focussing on manufacturing and quality standards and environment standards for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Aimed at improving process performance, the seminar titled, zero defect, zero effect is scheduled to be held on November 7 at the NIESBUD Noida campus.

The session will cover topics such as - how six sigma and ISO standards like ISO 9001, 27001 play a role model in Indian SMEs in changing business environment; the importance of adopting quality standards; how can SMEs expect faster and consistent business growth by adopting quality standards and the necessity to adopt ISO 14001.

NIESBUD has an objective to evolve standardised materials and processing for selection, training, support and sustenance of entrepreneurs, potential and existing. (KNN/ST)
