NIESBUD to organize Lean Management training to improve competitiveness

Noida, Jun 7 (KNN) In an effort to enhance the capacity and effectiveness in management sector with the wide coverage of lean tools and techniques, the National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) is imparting a training programme on adopting lean management practices.
 
The three-day course is to be held from June 23 to 25, 2014 at NIESBUD campus here.
 
The training programme is designed to impart ‘know-how and do-how’ of lean management along with development of a set of knowledge and skills to launch lean initiative in the organisation.
 
The course content will cover the topics such as why to go for lean management, what are the lean tools and techniques, how to integrate lean with ongoing six sigma and TQM initiatives, how to implement lean management and how to get started the lean initiative in area of operation.
 
Individuals from various section of economy like working professionals, government officials, corporates, HR professionals, teachers, trainers, NGOs and students will be participating in the programme.
 
Lean management practices will help in overall competitiveness, eliminating the waste, inculcating quality management system, imbibing a culture of continuous improvement and enhancement in productivity. (KNN/ST)
