Noida administration is not concerned: Industry

Noida, Jan 2 (KNN) The small entrepreneurs of Noida seems to be unhappy with the authority. Although the city is one amongst the most developing part of NCR region, the entrepreneurs say that there are many loopholes from administration point of view in Noida.
Noida, short form for the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority is an Industrial city which is a part of the National capital region (NCR). The city was created under the UP Industrial Area Development Act.
Many micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and big industries are functional in Noida.
If we talk about the infrastructure and management for the industries in the city, it lags far behind its neighbours from administrative point of view.
KNN spoke to the Vice President of Noida Entrepreneurs Association (NEA) V K Seth who said that basic facilities and administrative approach are not up to the mark.
Talking on the issue of electricity, he lambasts electricity department for asking extra security payment even now when everything is online and industries submit the electricity bills online.
He questioned that why department asks for extra fees, as they pay the bill immediately?
Many mistakes are being done by the electricity department while calculating the bills, he added.
He also complained that the drainage system in Noida does not work properly and the drains are not interconnected, as a result of this waste water of industries does not get proper flow.
No Government department is concerned about this, he added.
Meanwhile he is satisfied with roads in Noida, but elaborated that pending works are yet to done.
Many thefts are happening in the area, but no proper patrolling is being done by the city police, even criminals are not afraid of police, he said.
Noida is a major hub of industry. Noida has quickly emerged as a hub for automobile ancillary units. Noida has emerged a hot spot for IT and IT-enabled services industry with many large companies setting up their businesses here,is becoming the preferred destinations for companies offering IT, ITeS, BPO, BTO and KPO services in various domains such as banking, financial services, insurance, pharma, auto, FMCG and manufacturing.
