Noida MSMEs organizing digital transaction training for workers in industrial areas

Noida, Dec 19 (KNN) Trainings cum workshops are being organized actively organized by Noida MSMEs to train workers in the industrial areas on digital transactions.

In this regard, the Chamber of Indian Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (CIMSME) on Saturday in collaboration with NCR-RWA organised a training class cum workshop on digital transactions for the workers in Industrial area in sector 63, Noida.

Considering the strain of demonetisation across banks, citizens, markets and the industry, the free-of-cost training was organized.

The workshop focused on generating awareness on how to convert from cash transactions to cashless ones began at 4 pm on Saturday at a factory in block-A, sector 63.

More than 200 workers attended the training program which grew to 350 by late evening.

While talking with KNN on such training programs V.K. Sethi, Secretary General, Noida Entrepreneurs Association (NEA) said that these training programs will help in spreading awareness on digital payments.

“Such programs definitely help in the move of digitalization, lot of educated people even don’t know about digital transaction,” Sethi said.

He said that people have to accept it anyhow because it will be helpful for the coming generations.

 “It will take 6 months or a year to train people but it will be helpful when once happened,” added Sethi.

During the training session CIMSME officials assured help to the workers who had no bank accounts or had not been using debit or credit cards or mobile apps.

Training on Saturday included information on online transactions, debit or credit card use as well as the many apps for cashless transactions along with a certificate to those who participated in the training, NCR RWA plans to extend the exercise to other companies/factories in Noida in coming days.
