New Delhi, Oct 4 (KNN) The B2B ecommerce firm for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in association with TiE Delhi-NCR recently announced nominations open for its brings 4^th edition of ‘Spirit of Manufacturing Awards’ - the annual award series.

Power2SME in a statement said that the theme for this year is in line with the ‘Make in India’.

The awards attempts to acknowledge successful ‘Made in India’ stories and reward the spirit of entrepreneurship in the manufacturing sector.

The Spirit of Manufacturing awards is schedued for December later this year, on the side-lines of TiECON 2017.

Manufacturing with less than 10 years of existence  can apply or get nominated. The nominations are open till 15^th November 2017

This years edition of the awards will focus on the categories including innovation & IT adoption, social impact.  Also special category for women entrepreneur of the year and young entrepreneur of the year are  a part of the awards this year.

Aspiring startups can nominate themselves in more than one category.

Commenting on the initiative, R Narayan, Founder and CEO, Power2SME in a press statement said that at a time when India is paving its way to become a global manufacturing hub and is cheering for the great "Make in India" campaign, the initiative by Power2SME along with TiE aims to take this enthusiasm to the next level.

The young manufacturing firms that are vital to the economy both iin terms of the cotribution as well for emplyment generation are likely to get ecnouraged with their work getting acknowledged, Narayan added. (KNN/DA)
