North Eastern MSME entrepreneurs to showcase products at Festival in New Delhi from Dec 23-26

New Delhi, Dec 12 (KNN) The 10th edition of the North East Festival will begin in the national capital on December 23 till 26, 2023 and it will  have a special MSME zone.

More than 100 MSME entrepreneurs of northeast India will showcase agri-horti products, handloom, handicrafts, processed food products and much more.

The festival aims to promote the diverse life, culture, traditions and tourism of the region, comprising eight states.

Chief Organiser of North East Festival Shyamkanu Mahanta said that the four-day festival would be inaugurated by Union Minister for Culture, Tourism and Development of North Eastern Region G. Kishan Reddy at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi.

The festival would showcase the diverse food, crafts, dance, songs and culture of the region.

The first seven editions were organised from 2013 to 2019 in New Delhi, and witnessed massive crowds. 

The last two editions were held in Guwahati, in a hybrid mode, due to the outbreak of Covid-19.

Around 140 stalls will be put up for this exhibition and a marketplace will be created wherein visitors can explore and buy authentic and original products from the region.  (KNN Bureau)
