NSIC pays record dividend of Rs 17.02 crore for 2014-15 to the MSME Ministry

New Delhi, Oct 1 (KNN) National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) today paid a record dividend of Rs 17.02 crore for the year 2014-15 to the MSME Ministry.
 
Kalraj Mishra, Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises received a dividend cheque of Rs 17.02 crores for the year 2014-15from Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC here today, MSME Ministry said in a release. 

Nath informed that this is the highest dividend ever paid by NSIC. The Corporation has done an overall business of Rs 20, 004 crore in 2014-15 posting a15 per cent growth from its previous year, its Profit before Tax for the year was Rs 149.13crore, posting an increase of 32 per cent from the previous year. 

Mishra praised NSIC for its record performance for the year 2014-15. 

He stated that the Ministry of MSME is committed towards enhancing the competitiveness of Indian MSMEs so as to gear them up to take advantage of the clarion call made by Prime Minister towards “Make in India”. 

Speaking on the occasion CMD NSIC, also informed that the Corporation besides its services to MSME sector, has taken up a number of well-designed CSR initiatives spread across the country in the areas like Education, Skill Development Health care and Medical Assistance for differently abled/ weaker section of the society. 

Anup K. Pujari, Secretary, MSME complimented NSIC on providing integrated support to MSMEs within the country. 

Also present on the occasion were S N Tripathi, Additional Secretary, MSME, B H Anil Kumar, Joint Secretary, MSME and other officials of Ministry of MSME. (KNN Bureau)
