ONDC to host outreach program for sellers and MSMEs across India

New Delhi, Oct 14 (KNN) Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) has decided to start an outreach program for sellers and MSMEs across India and discuss ways ONDC can help to boost their business.

The first session will be held in Delhi/NCR for restaurants, food entrepreneurs and cloud kitchens on October 17, 2022.

It is being organised in association with National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) at India Habitat Centre in New Delhi.

“As a government-backed initiative, our sole focus is to create equal opportunities, especially for MSMEs. With our open network, businesses of every size have a chance to get discovered by their target audience,” said Shireesh Joshi, Chief Business Officer, ONDC.

Explaining the objective behind the program, Joshi said, “We wish to reach as many entrepreneurs, small businesses, local brands, etc.”

He said the F&B category is a very important category for us, given its almost daily reach to consumers.

“This introductory session will be a good starting point for all the interested parties who want to join our network in the future,” added Joshi.

The New Delhi event will be followed up by another event in Chandigarh at Hometel Chandigarh on 18 October, 2022.  (KNN Bureau)
