Opportunity For MSEs To Connect With Major Buyers At Hyderabad VDP

Hyderabad, Mar 13 (KNN) The MSME Development & Facilitation Office, Hyderabad is organising a two-day Vendor Development Programme & Exhibition to foster business connections between Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) and major central public sector buyers.

Scheduled for March 14th and 15th, the programme presents a valuable platform for MSMEs to showcase their products and capabilities directly to procurement officers from leading Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs) and ministries.

A key focus will be highlighting the Public Procurement Policy that mandates all CPSUs to source a minimum of 25 per cent of their annual requirements from MSEs.

Experts will conduct technical seminars explaining the nuances of this policy and procedures for selling on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal.

Several major public sector giants like Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), DRDO labs, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Electronics Corporation of India Ltd (ECIL), NMDC, Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC), Power Grid Corporation, Indian Oil Corporation and Ordnance Factories have confirmed their participation. They will exhibit their procurement requirements at the event.

On the other side, MSMEs from across sectors can utilise the exhibition to display their products, manufacturing capabilities and credentials to these potential bulk buyers under a single roof.

The event is scheduled to be held at The Plaza Begumpet from 10 AM to 5 PM on both days.
