Over 100 projects underway for MSMEs in North East : DONER

New Delhi, July 20 (KNN) In a bid to promote entrepreneurship in the region, the Minister for Development of North East Region (DONER), has announced over 100 projects for the Micro,Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

Minister for DONER Jitendra Singh informed about the set of initiatives being taken by the government to help the industry of the region prosper.
Singh further said that as a part of the initiative, Business Facilitation Centres (BFC) will be established in all northeastern states to assist the aspiring entrepreneurs in the region .
It would focus on channelizing finance for the entrepreneurs to start the MSME units.

The project is being carried out in collaboration with North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd (NEDFi). Credit linkages programs will also be facilitated to the MSME sector. (KNN/ DA)
