Kolkata, Nov 19 (KNN) Business Standard and Federation of Small and Medium Industries, West Bengal (FOSMI) are organizing a panel discussion to deliberate upon issues concerning MSMEs.

“How can MSMEs survive with issues such as sub-optimal scale of operation, fund shortages and technological obsolescence?”  Business Standard Smart Business discusses innovative approaches for MSMEs to compete with large companies,” an official release said.

The event titled Business Standard Smart Business is scheduled to be held on November-20 at the Indian Chamber of Commerce Auditorium here.

Speakers at the event are - Professor–Economist, Dipankar Dasgupta; Convenor, West Bengal Iron and Steel Manufacturers’ Association, Shubhendu Bhattacharya; and Vice President, FOSMI, Gautam Ray.

The panel discussion will be followed by an interactive session that will provide an opportunity for MSMEs to ask questions and get clarifications on various issues.  (KNN/ES)
