Pending issues related to MSMEs will be resolved in the coming 1 month, assures Gujarat CM

Ahmedabad, July 4 (KNN) Acknowledging that the MSME sector generates the highest employment, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel said that this sector generates the highest employment and as a result the government has taken many necessary steps to facilitate easy procurement of permissions and hence hasten manufacturing.

She said this while addressing the West Area convention of Laghu Udhyog Bharati here on Sunday.

CM Patel said that it is well known that Gujarat has the best infrastructural facilities for industries and assured everyone present that pending issues related to small and medium industries will be resolved in the coming 1 month.

Moreover, she added that the current government has started work on providing many facilities and incentives like financial assistance, assistance in interest, easy availability of land and electricity etc. to promote start-ups.

Also, CM Patel informed everyone about Gujarat’s leading position in construction of small GIDCs according to the demand of small industries.

Conveying her satisfaction that SMEs are the leading implementers of MOUs signed at various levels, she stressed on the need to differentiate permission procedures according to different industries.

CM Patel hoped that this would lead to fewer complicated administrative procedures for procuring permission and thus save both time and effort of industrialists.

She also expressed her wish for the cooperation of small and medium industrialists to help conserve the environment.

She also suggested that by the use of modern technology, industrialists can both increase their profits and participate in creating a more beautiful future.
