PM Vishwakarma Crosses 30 Lakh Registrations; MSME Grievance Redressal Hits 99%
New Delhi, Dec 4 (KNN) The government has informed the Lok Sabha that 30 lakh artisans and craftspeople have been registered under the PM Vishwakarma scheme as of December 1, 2025.
Of these, 23.09 lakh beneficiaries have already received training, Minister of State for MSME Shobha Karandlaje said in a written reply.
Digital Payments and Market Access Expanded
The Ministry has signed MoUs with India Post Payments Bank, Paytm, Paynearby, BharatPe and PhonePe to create QR codes for digital transactions. So far, 6.8 lakh artisans have received digital payment incentives worth Rs 22 crore.
Beneficiaries are also being supported through online marketplaces such as Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), FabIndia and Meesho to expand domestic and global sales.
Additionally, over 30,000 Vishwakarma artisans have been onboarded on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), giving them access to institutional buyers.
CHAMPIONS Portal Resolves 99 percent Grievances
Highlighting grievance redressal efforts, the Minister said that the Creation and Harmonious Application of Modern Processes for Increasing the Output and National Strength (CHAMPIONS) portal, designed to support and resolve MSME related issues, operates in 23 languages through 69 state control rooms.
As of November 26, 2025, the portal has received 1,59,577 grievances, of which 99.24 percent (1,58,372 cases) have been responded to.
Banks, financial institutions, state agencies and Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) have appointed nodal officers to handle queries raised through the platform.
