Lucknow, July 18 (KNN) Power2SME, India's first 'buying club' for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) is aiming to achieve business targets of USD 1 million in the next 6-9 months.

According to a media report, the company launched its operations in Lucknow recently with and aim to support and empower regional SMEs to evolve towards 'ease of doing business. It would venture in business to business space (B2B). It would launch a marketplace where SMEs can get timely access to quality raw materials at competitive prices.

It quoted Senior Vice President, Business Operations, Power2SME, Sumit Bhatia that Uttar Pradesh is among the top ten states in terms of SME base with over 44 lakh MSME units. The company will get opportunity to provide services in raw material procurement, finance and other valuable services to the sector.

The partnership of SMEs with Power2SME will not only enable them to procure raw material at better price rate but also provide them much required guidance and assistance at every step hence making them more sustainable, it said.
