New Delhi, Oct 17 (KNN) After organizing SME Transformation Camp in collaboration with MSME associations in Pune and Coimbatore, Power2SME organized another camp in collaboration with the Southern Gujarat Chamber Of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) with a mission to propel the growth of large number of SMEs in Surat.

As a part of the association, Power2SME and SGCCI in Surat acquainted enterprises on the need to embrace technology, an enabler that will help businesses to address and resolve key issues that include lack of access to working capital and raw materials procurement.

In addition to this, special sessions were held that threw light on the urgency to give thrust to financial inclusion in the SME segment, a sector that forms the backbone of the Indian economy. 

The SME Transformation camp, Power2SME’s flagship event, identified problems, discussed solutions and addressed operational concerns and roadblocks that SMEs face.

With an aim to transform SME businesses, the camp focused on providing them with an edge that would bolster their performance and revenue.

Speaking on the occasion, Power2SME, Founder & CEO, R Narayan said “With over 33 lakh SMEs in Gujarat, the state has a distinct identity of being an entrepreneurial hub, engaging over 61 lakh people.”

By collaborating with the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, “we aim to create a conducive environment for MSMEs to function and sustain themselves through offering them relevant business solutions, helping them grow and expand their business,” he added.

Expressing the delight to partner with Power2SME that aims to help the SMEs enhance their business operations and overcome hurdles that could impede their growth, SGCCI, President, Hetal R Mehta said that Surat offers tremendous potential for the Micro, Small and Medium (MSME) enterprises to flourish.

“The SME Transformation Camp is an ideal platform to support, encourage and motivate SMEs in the region,” Mehta added.
