Pune to Host DefExpo Focused on MSMEs and Innovation

Mumbai, Jan 27 (KNN) Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has announced that DefExpo 2024, India's prestigious biennial event spotlighting Land, Naval, and Homeland Security Systems, will be held in Pune, Maharashtra from 17 to 19 February, 2024.

"On this auspicious and proud occasion of Republic Day, I take pride in announcing that the Government of Maharashtra is hosting for the first time in our history a mega MSME Defence Expo on 17-19th Feb in Pune," Fadnavis stated through a post on X on Friday.

He further added, "The Expo is inspired by the pioneer of tri-services, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Let's celebrate our rich heritage and progress together!"

The last edition of the expo was held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat in October 2022, with a notable participation of over 1,340 exhibitors, including businesses, investors, start-ups, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), Armed Forces, and international delegates, the event spanned across four venues.
