Renovated shopping complex opens in Rashtrapati Bhavan

New Delhi, Jun 4 (KNN) The President of India, Pranab Mukherjee today inaugurated a renovated shopping complex in the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The complex features various items made by self-help groups of the president’s residential complex such as homemade masalas, organic compost and handmade envelopes.
There is also a Safal outlet, a Kendriya Bhandar as well as tailoring units and hair and beauty salons to cater to both men and women.
According to an official notification, the Kendriya Bhandar retail store at the President’s Estate is the 94th outlet in Delhi and first in the estate.
Residents of the estate can now avail of all their necessities within the premises.
Among the dignitaries present on the occasion were Chief Minister, NCT of Delhi Sheila Dikshit, Minister of State in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions V Narayanasamy, and Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office. (KNN)
