Small industry key to making 'Make in India' a reality: COSSIA

Mysore, Jan 23 (KNN)  The importance of small industry organisations in achieving  the goal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's concept of  Make in India during the time of global recession cannot be over emphasised.

This was stated by Chairman, Chamber of Small Industries Association (COSSIA), Praveen Misthri who visited Mysore Industries Association (MIA) here today.

Interacting with industrialists, Misthri assured the full support of COSSIA in executing the Make in India concept.  

According to General Secretary, MIA, Suresh Kumar Jain, representatives of both the associations discussed other industry matters, while Chairman COSSIA asked MIA to provide inputs and suggestions to the 2006 Industry Policy that is in the process of revision by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India.

On the other hand, MIA Secretary, N Satish mooted an MOU with COSSIA for industrial development.

Others that participated in the discussion were, Convenor KASSIA Mysore Zone, Manjunath, General Secretary MIA, Suresh Kumar Jain, Shivaji Kokane and S.V Parab of Pune.  (KNN/ES)
