Southern MSME Associations Summit will focus on growth of MSMEs: KASSIA

Bangalore, Jan 5 (KNN) Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (KASSIA) is organizing the “Southern MSME Associations Summit-2017” in the city on Friday, 6th January, 2017.

The Summit will be inaugurated by Kalraj Mishra, Union Minister of MSME. He will also launch the MSME Hand Book in regional language-Kannada.

While talking with the KNN, General Secretary of KASSIA B Praveen said that it is the first occasion where seven states are being invited. He also claimed participation of nearly 133 associations.

“It is the first time we are inviting about seven states, prominently industries association. About 23 association are going to participate in this plus 110 association affiliated from KASSIA,” said Praveen.

According to KASSIA, “There will be joint memorandum submission to the Ministry of MSME Ministry and Ministry of Finance for consideration of pre-budget of the industries,” said B Praveen.

In his conversation with KNN he said that Summit is being organized with a view to suggest the issues pertaining to the growth of MSMEs. He added that the association will urge the ministry to implement the issues in the budget.

“A day long summit is being organized with an aim to give suggestion which will help in the growth of the MSMEs. Issues pertaining to the MSMEs will also be deliberated. We request the ministry to implement these issues in the budget,” added Praveen. (KNN/RAS)
