Bhubaneswar, June 10 (KNN) The new government will lay special emphasis on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in the forthcoming budget.

The budget could be presented in July.

Union Minister of State for MSME Pratap Sarangi said that the MSME sector will see radical transformation in the days to come, providing employment opportunities to both poor and the youth.

He said, “The sector generates maximum number of employment opportunities after the agriculture sector.

It is believed that employment creation will be the central theme of the budget. This will be the first full-scale budget of the Modi government.

He also said, “We will take strides in the sector.”

He said that all steps are being taken for farmers engaged in coconut cultivation in the state.
