Suresh Prabhu to be the chief guest at FISME-Amazon Digital Utsav on Dec 13

New Delhi, Dec 12 (KNN) The Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME) and e-commerce giant Amazon are jointly organizing ‘FISME-Amazon Digital Utsav’ in the national capital on December 13, 2018.

Suresh Prabhu, Minister of Commerce & Industry will be the chief guest and Dr. Arun Kumar Panda

Secretary, Ministry of MSMEs will be the guest of honour.

Along with the digital utsav, an interactive session cum panel discussion on “New Markets through e-commerce” focusing on micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) will also be organized.

Senior officials from the government, policy makers, technology leaders, think-tank and the media will participate in the interactive session.

The FISME - Amazon Digital Utsav is being organized as a celebration of the entrepreneurial spirit of Indian MSMEs that are integral to India’s socio-economic progress and integration with the world.

India is home to more than 6.3 crore MSMEs across diverse industries. These businesses contribute about 37.54% to the economy. On Amazon.in, they constitute 95% of over 3,80,000 sellers.

FISME is a national body of MSMEs with a network of more than 700 MSMEs associations. (KNN Bureau)
