Technology Development Board invites MSMEs, innovators for ‘National Awards’

New Delhi, Dec 21 (KNN) Technology Development Board (TDB)-a statutory body under ‘Department of Science & Technology’, Government of India will present ‘National Awards’ to several industrialists, MSMEs and innovators for successful commercialization of indigenous technology.

The national awards will be presented on the ‘Technology Day’ on May 11, 2019.

For this, TDB has invited applications from desirous industrialists/MSMEs for each indigenous technology commercialized / developed having potential for commercialization on or before January 31, 2019.

The cash reward of Rs 25 lakh will be given to an industrial concern which has successfully developed & commercialized an indigenous technology on or after April 2014, said TDB notification.

In case, the technology developer / provider and technology commercializer are two different organizations, each one would be eligible for award of Rs. 25 lakh and a trophy, it added.

Besides, cash award of Rs 15 lakh will be given to technology start-ups for promising new technology with potential for commercialization.
