Technology products, Ayurveda and artwork displayed at MSME Expo-2013

New Delhi, Nov 16 (KNN)  Providing a platform for MSMEs to showcase their products, the India International Trade Fair has over 89 stalls and more than 66 participants featured at the MSME Expo.

Organised by the Development Commissioner (MSME), the MSME Expo being held here from November-14 to 27 was inaugurated by the Secretary of Ministry of MSME, Madhav Lal today.

“SMEs from all over India are participating to demonstrate their quality products, skill and traditional art work of India. The uniqueness of this year’s MSME Expo is that visitors will have a chance to see products from states like Assam, Kerala, Maharashtra, Gujarat, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan etc,” said an official notification.

The Office of DC (MSME) has helped exhibitors promote their products by providing them with subsidized stalls.
 
Products range exhibited varies from technical products requiring high precision manufacturing to products which manifests India’s strength in traditional knowledge of ayurveda and artwork.
 
Special category entrepreneurs have been encouraged through enhanced subsidy.

The objective of the exhibition is to recognize the strength of India’s Micro and Small-Scale units by showcasing the technology adopted by them in manufacturing products and also to provide a suitable platform at reasonable cost to develop a platform for future trade and business not only domestically but also globally.   (KNN/ES)
