Technospark Industries to be honoured for outstanding performance in MSME sector

New Delhi, Oct 27 (KNN)  In recognition of the quality of engineering granite products it manufactures, Technospark Industries India Private Limited in Bengaluru has been awarded first prize by the Office of Development Commissioner (MSME), Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India.

The Managing Director of Technospark Industries India Private Limited is Mohan Suresh who is also a past president of the Federation of Indian Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (FISME).

Several other outstanding performers in the MSME sector will be similarly honoured with a trophy and a certificate at an award ceremony, scheduled for a later date.

Each year, the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises presents National Awards for Entrepreneurship , Product/ Process Innovation, Quality consciousness and Lean Manufacturing Techniques to outstanding MSMEs with a view to recognize their efforts and contribution.

Other entrepreneurs awarded for 2013 are:

Innovation in micro and small enterprises: I prize - Ritu Sachdeva (Siddharth Petro Products), II Prize - Dinesh Chowdhary (Ray Enterprises), III prize – M Anil Kumar (SLN Technologies Private Limited). 

Innovation in medium enterprises: I prize – Rishi Baid (Vitromed Healthcare), II prize – Amarjit Singh (Kartar Agro Industries Pvt Ltd), III prize – Swaranjit Singh (Dasmesh Mechanical Works).

Outstanding entrepreneurship in micro enterprises (manufacturing): I prize – Mehul J Panchal (Filter Concept Pvt Ltd), II prize – P Arjuna (Manju Exports), III prize – Dev Prakash Goel (Conquerent Control Systems Pvt Ltd) and Madhabi Mandal Saha (Sarama Steel Furniture).

Outstanding entrepreneurship in small enterprises (manufacturing): I prize – Chandubhai Manubhai Kothia (Shree Ganesh Chemicals), II prize – Anil Dass (HGS (India) Ltd, III prize – Satish Goel (Shree Jagdamba Agricro Exports P Ltd), and Anil Kumar Garg (Aroma Agrotech P Ltd).

Special Award to outstanding woman entrepreneur – Rekha Rani Singh (Singh Plasticisers and Resins P Ltd); Special Award to outstanding SC entrepreneur – Subash Singh Grover (JD Hoists and Cranes P Ltd); Special Award to outstanding NER entrepreneur – Amrit Deorah (Aasray Concept Foods).

Outstanding Entrepreneurship in Medium enterprises: I Prize – Ramesh Mahapatra (Magnum Seafoods Ltd), II prize – Kantilal Manilal Panchal (Ishan Equipment P Ltd); III Prize – Ravi Beri (Beri Udyog P Ltd).

Outstanding Entrepreneurship in micro and small enterprises (services):  I Prize – Prem Prakash Mittal (Energy Engineers), II Prize - Rajendra Kumar Mishra (Modern Test Centre), III Prize – Anant Mal Lunia (Quality Management Services).

Lean Manufacturing techniques: in micro enterprises - Gyanesh Chaudhary (Servo Electronics P Ltd); in small enterprises – Milan Harivadan Dalal (Bluecoat P Ltd); in medium enterprises – Swaranjit Singh (Dasmesh Mechanical Works).

Quality Products in micro and small enterprises: Active Pharmaceutical ingredients – Lalit Kumar Jain (Pharmachem); Micro Nutrients for Plants – Sanjay Aggarwal (Jai Shree Rasayan Udyog Ltd); Energy Efficient Pumps – Dhruv Malhotra (Everest Blower Systems P Ltd); Toughened Metallic Ware – Parmod Kumar Gupta (Worldfa Exports P Ltd); Automotive Electronic Components – Veshal Gupta (Hi-tech Products P Ltd); Electronic Surveillance and Security Systems – Sanjeev Sehgal (Samriddhi Automations P Ltd); Artistic Glassware products – Promod Kumar Garg (Jagadamba Glass works); Natural fragrance and flavours – Surender Mohan (Natural Biotech products); and Leather Apparels – Ved Prakash (Viking Garments).

The MSME Ministry has now called for entries for 2014 National Awards.  While applications are available on the website: www.dcmsme.gov.in; last date for receipt of applications is December 14, 2015. Those eligible for the awards are Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises who have been in continuous manufacturing/services for last three years.  (KNN Bureau)
