Hyderabad, Aug 5 (KNN)  Telangana Industrialists Federation (TIF) is organising a mega health check-up and blood donation camp and will provide free medicines to benefit about 20,000 industrial workers in Cherlapally of Rangareddy District.
 
These activities will be carried out tomorrow on the occasion of the 80^th birth anniversary of Professor Jayashankar, according to President, TIF, K Sudhir Reddy
 
Further, as a part of its corporate social responsibility, the Federation is planning to donate a patrolling vehicle to the police department.
 
The event is being carried out in association with Cherlapally Industries Association (CIA), Lions Club of Hyderabad Industrialists, ESI Hospitals, and ESIC, Nacharam.
 
Industrial workers are often exposed to chemicals that affect their health.  Focus will be given to this aspect during the health checks and further treatment will be recommended if the situation warrants, Reddy said.
 
While the Minister for home, labour and employment, Nayani Narasimha Reddy will be the chief guest, NVSS Prabhakar, MLA Uppal, Dhanpal Reddy and other representatives of various  industry associations will be participating in the event.  (KNN/ES)
